Developed several other fundraising initiatives fortheatreWashington/The Helen Hayes Awards, including an enduring and beloved event calledShow Tunes and Cocktails, which showcased local theatre talent and raised funds for the theatre community in Washington, D.C.

 

Rock Creek Conservancy Gala - Event Host Committee for the Annual Rock Creek Conservancy Gala - Rock Creek Conservancy is a watershed organization protecting Rock Creek and the philanthropic and stewardship partner to the entirety of Rock Creek (National) Park. The Conservancy’s mission is to restore Rock Creek and its parklands as a natural oasis for all people to appreciate and protect. Rock Creek Conservancy is the only organization dedicated solely to RockCreek and its parks. The creek meanders 33 milesthrough Montgomery County and Washington, DC, crossing federal lands as well as District, city, county, and state boundaries.https://www.rockcreekconservancy.org

 

Wellness House of Annapolis - Hosted a fundraising event in my home to raise funds for the Wellness House of Annapolis. Wellness House of Annapolis provides services and programs to those who have been touched by cancer. From support groups for children, teens, and adults to healthy living services such as yoga, reiki, meditation, and therapeutic art classes, the goal of the Wellness House of Annapolis is to help those affected by cancer find the strength and support needed to focus on recovery and healing. https://annapoliswellnesshouse.org
