More than 30 ears later, New York-based German artist Pia Dehne paid homage to those ladies in a mural-size, velveteon-style painting, which was shown at Deitch Projects in February. Calling her 9°x-18° canvas Naked City, the artist replaced the original nudie beauties with 19 Now York girls.
